Milestones Aplenty On Record Day

Two months ago, I completed my best day in terms of Xbox statistics and without noticing the 20th of the month has again become the best but this time in a lot of instances.

The day began with Fruit Ninja Kinect with the unlocking of Edumacated (20G) for reading a fact about each fruit in the game and before going off to bed, I went on Fruit Ninja Windows 8 and unlocked Fruit Annihilation (20G) for killing a total of 10000 fruit.

The morning session began with a range of games from the Kinect Fun Labs range beginning with Build a Buddy and the first unlock was Buddy, Can You Spare A Dime? (10G) for sharing ten times while Multiple Personalities (5G) popped up for building all eight buddy personalities.

Build A Buddy Pro (10G) unlocked for building 25 buddies and became my 22nd completed game so I moved onto Googly Eyes and unlocked Staring is Caring (10G) for sharing ten times.


Optometrist (5G) looked in for trying out every configuration of eyes while Googly Eyes Pro (10G) unlocked for creating 25 puppets and became my 23rd completed game.

Continuing the Kinect trend, next up was Avatar Kinect which saw a single unlock in the shape of To Be or Not to Be (10G) for posting ten soliloquies of great social importance and in doing so completed current TA goal of 114458 points, a strange score but was the total needed to beat my total points accumulation in 2012.


Kinect Me was up next and Chameleon (5G) unlocked for shooting with every background with Celebrity (10G) popping up for sharing ten photo shoots.

Kinect Me Pro (10G) unlocked for posing for 25 photo shoots and in doing so became my 24th completed game and the third of the day so I moved on and went onto Bobble Head and soon unlocked Baker's Dozen (10G) for sharing 13 times.

Dress Up (5G) unlocked for dressing a Bobble in a costume and was swiftly followed by Costume Party (5G) for creating Bobbles using every possible costume.

Bobble Head Pro (10G) unlocked for creating 25 Bobbles and meant that I reached another big milestone by notching up my 25th completed game. Next up was Kinect Rush Snapshot and the first unlock was A New Me! (5G) for completing my first scan meaning it became the 300th game that I unlocked an achievement on.


A star is born! (5G) unlocked for posing for my first photo which was swiftly followed by Hello. World (5G) for my first share.


Say Cheese! (5G) smiled on for posing for my sixth photo while The Artist (10G) popped up for sharing ten photos overall.


Pixar Fan (10G) unlocked for taking a photo in every world while Photo Expert (10G) shot in for posing for a total of 18 photos and like the previous Kinect games it continued the completion trend by becoming m 26th completed game and completed my goal for the year of completing 26 games overall and nine for the year.

Kinect Sports 2 was next up and a quick unlock came in the shape of  Calling the Shot (20G) for completing a pass after calling an audible in Football while Grand Slam (20G) smashed in for hitting a home run with the bases loaded in Baseball.

Perfect Race (20G) dashed in for completing two perfect ski runs in Skiing without missing any gates with Challenge Challenger (25G) popping up for sending out my first challenge. 

 A quick go on Kinect Adventures saw the unlocking of Davy Jones' Locker (30G) for participating in the reward ceremony for Sunken Treasure which was followed by a quick go on Dance Central 3 with a single unlock in the shape of Up to the Challenge (20G) for completing a player challenge and took my overall achievement completion to 37%.

The night ended with an hour on Body and Brain Connection with three unlocks beginning with First Intermediate Level (20G) for completing an exercise at Intermediate level while Seize the Day (25G) popped up for completing 'Today's Exercises' three times and took me to 31 for the day a new record.

The record was extended overall to 32 but on the Best Days went to 31 as the FNW8 achievement earlier had been unlocked offline and didn't have a time stamp so First Advanced Level (20G) for completing an exercise at Advanced Level created a new Best  Day of 31 unlocks and the second time in two months from Oct 20-Dec 20 that I had hit 30 achievements in a single day.

Sporting Fruit On Kinect

A session using Kinect saw seven unlocks across two games starting with Kinect Sports which was a really good workout beginning with And the Winner is ... (30G) for winning a Boxing match and was soon followed by Windmill Wonder (20G) for performing a windmill manoeuvre in Long Jump.

Juggernaut (20G) unlocked for winning a Hurdles race despite hitting every hurdle while Pin Win (30G) rolled in for winning a game of Bowling.

Ultra Combo (15G) unlocked for scoring a point from a perfect bump, set and spike in Volleyball with Networking (15G) popping up for performing a block move in Volleyball.

A quick go on Fruit Ninja Kinect saw a single unlock to end the night in the shape of Moment of Zen (10G) for reaching a score of over 200 on the Zen mode.

 

Windows 8 Combines With Kinect

An early session on the Windows 8 version of Fruit Ninja saw an amazing 17 unlocks which began with Wake Up (10G) for getting a score of 0 with Tee Hee Hee (15G) popping up for getting a score of 69.

Fruit Fight (5G) punched in for killing 150 fruit in total and was swiftly followed by Fruit Ninja (5G) for getting a score of 50 in Classic mode.


Year of the Dragon (15G) fired in for slicing the secret fruit while Lucky Ninja (10G) struck in for getting six criticals in a single round in Classic mode.

Go Banana (5G) unlocked for killing ten bananas in a single round on Classic mode with Fruit Blitz (5G) popping up for killing 500 fruit.


Ultimate Fruit Ninja (10G) unlocked for getting a score of 200 in Classic mode while Great Fruit Ninja  (5G) popped up for getting a score of 100 in Classic mode.

Almost a Century (10G) unlocked for getting a score of 99 in Classic mode with Fruit Frenzy (5G) swishing in for killing a total of 1000 fruit.


Moment of Zen (15G) unlocked for scoring 200 in Zen mode with Combo Mambo (15G) popping up for slicing six fruit in a single combo.


Over Achiever (15G) unlocked for getting a score over 400 after all bonuses in Arcade mode while Are you kidding me? (10G) popped up for failing with the same score as my personal best which at the time was 220 on Zen.

The Windows 8 session ended with the unlocking of Fruit Rampage (10G) for killing a total of 5000 fruit. The evening session saw me resume the X360 Dash with a short Kinect session which began with Sonic Free Riders with a single unlock in the shape of Debut License (15G) for uploading a score to the leaderboards.

Crossboard 7 lived up to its name with seven unlocks in a single race for an amazing 240G to end the night with the first unlock being Item Attack (10G) for a foot stomp after receiving an item while T Glider (10G) swept in for holding both arms out fully while in the air.

Air Trick Sideway Combo (40G) unlocked for performing an air trick with two consecutive horizontal rotations and landing safely with World Debut (30G) popping up for posting my first score on the leaderboards.

Boost Max (80G) unlocked for making a clean landing with a maxed boost bar and was instantly followed by Triple Air Trick (30G) which popped up for performing three tricks while twisting my body in the air.

The night ended with the unlocking of Air Trick Vertical Combo (40G) for performing an air trick containing two vertical rotations and landing safely and sadly due to a busy day on Tuesday, my achievement streak went so a new one begins at 1 day and 25 unlocks.
