Completions Aplenty In Amazing August

 

After July became the all time best month for Xbox gaming, there was pressure to match in August but a good haul all the same of 249 unlocks, 30855 TA (total taken when writing in Jan 2022) and 28.920 G. The haul of unlocks is extra special this month as it meant this year became the best ever for unlocks with 2021 (prev record 2020 in 2020).

As the pursuit to complete the equivalent of one game per week across the year (52) was surpassed back in May, the next goal of 100 drew closer with further 14 completions out of a total of 17 games played.

Escapes, Words and Mushrooms To End August

The 22nd saw another new Xitilon edition to the collection in the form of Escape Sequence (Windows) with a session containing a huge haul of 18 unlocks. The session began with Complete Level 1(25G) having completed the opening level with Complete Level 2 (25G) popping after completing level two. 

Complete Level 3 (25G) unlocked after completing level three followed by Complete Level 4 (25G) having finished level four. 

Complete Level 5 (25G) unlocked after completing level five followed by Complete Level 6 (50G) having finished level six.

Complete Level 7 (50G) pinged in after completing level seven followed by Complete Level 8 (50G) having finished level eight 

Complete Level 9 (50G) unlocked after completing level nine followed by Complete Level 10 (50G) having finished level ten. 

Complete Level 11 (75G) unlocked after completing level eleven followed by Complete Level 12 (75G) having finished level twelve. 

Complete Level 13 (75G) unlocked after completing level thirteen followed by Complete Level 14 (75G) having finished level fourteen. 

Complete Level 15 (75G) unlocked after completing level fifteen which was soon joined by Socobadmin (200G) after completing all 15 base levels. 

Complete Level 16 (25G) unlocked after completing level sixteen and the day ended with Complete Level 17 (200G) having completed level 17. 

Escape Sequence (Windows) saw a session with threefurther unlocks which started with Complete Level 18 (200G) having completed level eighteen before Complete Level 19 (200G) popped up after completing level nineteen.

Complete Level 20 (200G) popped after completing level twenty and ended the session. 

The 24th began with the final unlock on Escape Sequence (Windows) came in the form of Second Thought (50G) after having a second thought. 

Next up was the addition of Mushroom Savior (Windows) to the collection with an initial seven unlocks which began with Adventure begins ! (100G) before Mushroom King (100G) popped after taking a small step for the king but a big one for the nation.

Box in a hotel (100G) popped after pushing a box in a hole and was soon followed by Rescuer (100G) after saving a mushroom for the first time. 

Portals (100G) unlocked after throwing a box into a portal and then up popped Explosion ! (100G) after causing an explosion with a box. 

The play for the day came to an end with the unlocking of Smart (100G) after successfully solving the first ten levels. 

The 25nd saw the console edition of Escape Sequence begin with a session containing a four unlocks. The session began with Complete Level 1 (25G) having completed the opening level with Complete Level 2 (25G) popping after completing level two.

Complete level 3 (25G) unlocked after completing level three followed by Second Thoughts (50G) after having a second thought. 

Aug 26th saw a return to Mushroom Savior (Windows) with a short session of three unlocks which opened with Very Smart! (100G) after solving 20 levels before VERY Smart! (100G) popped having solved all levels. 

The final unlock and the completion arrived in the form of Evil Tree (100G) after defeating the final boss. 

                                                    

Escape Sequence resumed on the 27th with a haul of ten unlocks in a session which opened with Complete Level 4 (25G) having finished level four and then Complete Level 5 (25G) unlocked after completing level five.

Complete Level 6 (50G) having finished level six with Complete Level 7 (50G) pinging in after completing level seven.

Complete Level 8 (50G) unlocked having finished level eight and Complete Level 9 (50G) popped after completing level nine.

Complete Level 10 (50G) unlocked after completing level ten followed by Complete Level 11 (75G) having finished level eleven. 

Complete Level 12 (75G) unlocked after completing level twelve which was then joined by Complete Level 13 (75G) after completing level thirteen which ended the session. 

The 28th saw Escape Sequence completed with the final eight unlocks popping inside the opening hour of the day. The spree began with Complete Level 14 (75G) having finished level fourteen followed by Complete Level 15 (75G) after completing level fifteen.

Socobadmin (200G) pinged instantly after completing all 15 base levels and then came the first pop of the title update in Complete Level 16 (25G)  after completing level sixteen.

Complete Level 17 (200G) unlocked having completed level 17 and then up popped Complete Level 18 (200G) having completed level 18. 

Complete Level 19 (200G) unlocked having completed level 19 and the completion arrived with the popping of Complete Level 20 (200G) having completed level 20. 

 

As the month neared the end, the 29th saw a new addition in Crypto by Powgi which debuted with an initial four unlocks starting with Unforgettable (30G) after revealing the quote by Nat King Cole. Butch (30G) unlocked after revealing the quote by Paul Newman. 

Who's That Girl (30G) pinged after revealing the quote by Madonna and the session ended when Happy Accident (30G popped after revealing the quote by Bob Ross.

The 30th saw Crypto by Powgi continue with a further three unlocks which began with Lend Me a Tenor (30G) after revealing the quote by Luciano Pavarotti and was followed by I am Root (30G) having revealed the quote by Linus Torvalds.  

It's Easy If You Try (30G) popped after revealing the quote by John Lennon to end the day. 

The month came to a close with anew addition to the gaming collection in the form of Orbibot which saw 11 unlocks in the evening session. The session opened with the popping of Coincidence? (70G) after pushing 3 different boxes from the level into the sky. 

Un-boxing (70G) opened up after pushing a single box from the level into the sky and was soon followed by In the Middle (70G) after pushing 3 different barrels from the level into the sky.

Accidents Happen (70G) unlocked after pushing one barrel from the level into the sky and was then joined by Barrel hater (70G) having pushed 5 different barrels from the level into the sky. 

There can be only one (70G) popped after pushing a sphere from the level into the sky and was followed by First Cat (70G) after getting a plastic cat on a level. 

Start (70G) unlocked after completing the opening level and then on the next level, Box Hater (70G) popped after pushing 5 different boxes from the level into the sky. 

Doors (70G) opened up after completing the second level before the final unlock of the month came in Imposters (70G) after pushing 3 different spheres from the level into the sky.
