A Gaming Dip In June

 







The stunning start to 2021 saw a slight dip in June but the main goals for the year remained on course due to the amazing success of the earlier months. Despite the slight dip, the run of 100+ unlocks continued with 114 unlocks, 7,967 TA Points and 4350 G. 

As the pursuit to complete the equivalent of one game per week across the year (52) was surpassed back in May, the next goal is 100 across the year and with only 2 this month the total became 57 which includes some re-completions due to new DLC.

June Ends With Jeopardy, Paradox Error & Many Faces Combining


 A new week began with a new game as
Jeopardy joined the game collection with an opening session of nine unlocks. The session started with Who Is Rich? (50G) after finishing a match with over $75,000. 

Welcome (50G) instantly popped after playing a game of Jeopardy for the very first time and was swiftly followed by Daily Performance (50G) after obtaining a daily score of 5000+ in a Daily Challenge. 
Correct! (50G)
 popped after successfully guessing a Clue and this led to 1st Place (50G) after finishing a match in first place. 

High Risk (50G)
 unlocked after wagering a bet of over $25,000 and was soon followed by Good Grades (50G) for ending a match with at least ten correct answers. 


Fastest Player Alive (50G) sped in after buzzing under 200 milliseconds and the session ended with Specialist (50G) after correctly answering all clues in a single category during a match. 



Tuesday 29th saw some slight deja-vu with another new game, this time Paradox Error opening with nine unlocks. The session began with Jumping 1! (50G) after jumping ten times in a single playthrough and rapidly followed by Jumping 2! (100G) after jumping 50 times in a single playthrough. 

Jumping 3 (100G) sprung in after jumping 100 times in a single playthrough with New (50G) popping after pressing the New Game button on level one. 


Moving (100G)
 unlocked after staying on the moving platform for five seconds on level two and then Level 1 (50G) popped after beating level one. 


Dying 1? (50G) popped after dying six times in a single playthrough and was followed by Dying 2? (100G) unlocked after dying nine times in a single playthrough. 

The day ended with the unlocking of Dying 3? (100G) after dying 18 times in a single playthrough. 



The month ended with a flourish as Many Faces started and completed in a haul of 14 unlocks. The session began with Fast Learner (80G) after completing the tutorial and was followed by Broken Heart I (30G) after collecting a heart. 


Funky Hat (40G) unlocked after collecting a hat for the first time outside of the tutorial with Steep Dancer I (50G) popping for finishing stage one. 




Creamy Enemy I (50G) 
unlocked after killing a total of eight enemies and led to Steep Dancer II (80G) for beating stage two. 




Steep Dancer III (100G) stepped in after beating stage three and was soon joined by Fluffy Boss I (50G) for killing a boss for the first time. 



Creamy Enemy II (70G)
 shot in after killing a total of 24 enemies and soon led to Creamy Enemy III (100G) popping after killing a total of 48 enemies. 



Broken Heart II (70G) unlocked after collecting five hearts and was swiftly followed by Fluffy Boss (80G) after killing two bosses overall. 



Broken Heart III (100G) unlocked after collecting ten hearts and the final unlock of the day and month of June itself came in the form of Fluffy Boss III (100G) for killing three bosses and thereby completing the game.

Lego DC SV Continues, Wheel Of Fortunes Begins & Graveyard Keeper Returns To Completion


A slight delay on this blog recently means a catch-up is needed which begins with the continuation of Lego DC Super Villains and a short session of two unlocks which began with Battering Ram (10G) after performing a grab on an enemy before charging into five others. 

Egg On Your Face (10G) popped after taking a selfie with Chang Tzu as any character while having both in the same party. 




Tuesday 22nd saw a new addition to the game collection with the recent purchase of Wheel Of Fortune debuting with four unlocks which began with New Contestant (50G) after being the first to buzz in during a toss-up round. First Bucket Of Gold (50G) unlocked after winning a total of $50,000.

 followed after solving ten puzzles and the session ended for the day with the popping of Gold Mine (100G) after earning a total of $100,000.  




Wednesday saw the session on Wheel of Fortune continue with three unlocks which began with Five Star Contestant (50G) after winning five matches and was followed by Decorator (100G) after earning a total of 50 customisation items. 


The early morning session ended with the unlocking of New Baby Buggy (200G) after solving a puzzle with less than 20% of the letters revealed. 


Later on that day, a surprise return to the game collection in the form of Graveyard Keeper saw three unlocks due to the release of a new DLC called Game of Crone. An Unexpected Guest (18G) popped after meeting Marquis Teodoro Jr. Vampires In the Village (18G) popped after discovering that a Vampire was attacking the village. 

Camp (18G) popped after being given a camp to improve and ended the day. 



A new session the next day saw Graveyard Keeper continue with five unlocks which began with The Face of the Enemy (18G) after successfully exposing the Vampire. To Stop An Ancient Curse (18G) followed after being persuaded to help the cause by Alaric. 





One More Inquisitor (18G)
 unlocked after meeting Lady Beatrice, the new inquisitor and was then joined by Blood Supplier (18G) after gifting corpse blood to the vampire.


The session ended with the popping of Raccoon Thyroid Stew (18G) after performing a few favours for the Cook. 



Friday's session saw Graveyard Keeper continue with seven further unlocks which began with Developed Camp (18G) after improving the camp. Vampires Are Over (26G) unlocked after informing Horadic about the Vampire's demise. 
Revolution Begins (18G) popped after joining the workers and peasants for the first time and was followed by Cook of Revolution (18G) after successfully helping the Revolutionaries. 
Writer of Revolution (18G)
popped after aiding the Revolutionaries for a second time and Ideologist of Revolution (18G) followed after aiding the Revolutionaries for a third time. 
The session ended with the unlocking of Long Live The Revolution (18G) after completing the Revolution. 


Saturday saw the session resume with five unlocks which began with Mysterious Woman (18G) after viewing a scene from the past. Spirit Summoner (26G) flew in after delivering to the Dungeon to give the ghosts a laugh. 


Exterminate (26G) fired in after clearing out all of the ambushes and soon was joined by Awkward Interrogation (18G) after successfully interrogating Vampire Carl. 


The day ended with Between Worlds (18G) after successfully working on someone's memory. 

The week ended with the final six unlocks on Graveyard Keeper achieved in order to secure the completion. The session opened with Beheaded Horse (18G) after helping the Undertaker deal with her dead relatives. More Forest Thugs (18G) popped after providing the Tanner's son with a happy future. 


Paradise (18G) shone in after successfully completing all of the improvements to the camp and was soon followed by Strengthened Camp (18G) after adding fortifications to the camp. 


Lesser Evil (18G) unlocked after receiving an offer from Lady Beatrice that was impossible to refuse and the final unlocks and completion arrived in the form of Refugees Are Safe (18G) after successfully rescuing all of the refugees.
