Shoot Many Robots Fires In

This month's Games for Gold is Shoot Many Robots so as it was free I had a quick go and got two unlocks beginning with Shoot Some Robots (10G) for kiling 100 robots which was followed by Punch Many Bullets (15G) for punching two bullets, killing two robots all with one melee swing. 

AlphaJax Spell A 300 Streak

As I outlined in the previous post, I was out Saturday night which led to a late return home on Sunday morning so a quick go on AlphaJax to continue the achievement streak saw the required single unlock in the shape of Apposite Choice (10G) for placing a ten points letter on a Triple Letter tile. The unlock puts me at 300 achievements in 58 days, two days earlier than the target I set once I had hit 250.

X360 Dash Sees Hits

A delayed post due to going out last night and getting horribly drunk but after four years without I made up for lost time but anyway back to the main focus which saw three games played on the 360 and the continuation of Peggle 2 on the One.

Peggle 2 saw four unlocks beginning with Ultimate Extreme Fever (35G) for clearing all the pegs on a level instantly joined byCoolest Clear (50G) for winning a level with the cool clear style shot.

Every Day I'm Pegglin' (10G) unlocked for hitting 10,000 Blue pegs with I'd Hit That (10G) popped up for hitting 300 Green pegs and ended the post midnight session.

The day session began with Hitman Blood Money which saw a single unlock in the shape of 1st mission complete (25G) for completing Death of a Showman on any difficulty.Hitman HD Trilogy was up next with four unlocks starting with 1st kill (10G) unlocking for performing a successful kill on Silent Assassin.

Killed the wrong guy (10G) unlocked for killing an innocent person on Silent Assassin with Headshot (15G) popping up for performing a successful headshot on Silent Assassin.

 1st kill (10G) unlocked for performing a successful kill on Contracts and I moved on to Virtua Tennis 3 which saw three unlocks beginning with 25 Love Games (30G) for achieving 25 Love Games.

10KM Running Distance (30G) unlocked for running a total of 10km with Rank#100 World Tour (20G) swung in for reaching rank 100 in the World Tour.

The days haul brought the achievement streak to 299 in 57 days so the target of 300 in 60 days is guaranteed as to keep the streak going only one unlock is needed so the minimum will be 300 in 58 days.

X360 Dash Begins With Pacman CE Completion

As I mentioned in the previous post, the majority of the next few weeks will focus on the Xbox 360 in the Xbox Dash - to play the remaining 128 games I own that haven't been played in 2013 as part of a goal I set. Anyway, eight games were played on the first day but only two saw unlocks.

ICC 2010 had a single unlock in the shape of Dynamite in the Field (5G) for completing the fielding lesson. During a browse of the Windows Store, I noticed that Pacman CE was on sale and having already completed it on the 360, the chance for another completion was worth £3. 30 Ghost Combo (10G) unlocked for eating 30 ghosts in succession.

Score Attack (5 Minutes) (10G) unlocked for playing the five minute Score Attack until the very end while 500,000 Points (20G) popped up for scoring 500,000 on the five minute Score Attack.

No Mistakes (15G) unlocked for completing the five minute Score Attack with out making a single mistake with Sparkster (5G) popped up for emitting sparks for a full second.

All Maze Visuals (15G) unlocked for beating the game using every maze visual and was soon followed byTime Trial Cleared (15G) popped up for completing the Time Trial mode.

No Bombs (15G) exploded in for finishing Score Attack without using a bomb with 1,000,000 Points (30G) unlocked for hitting 1 million points on the five minute Score Attack.

Score Attack (10 Minutes) (15G) unlocked for playing the ten minute Score Attack until the very end while 1,500,000 Points (20G) popped up for scoring 1,500,000 points on the ten minute Score Attack.

2,000,000 Points (30G) completed the game after it unlocked for scoring 2,000,000 points on the ten minute Score Attack making Pacman CE (W8)  my 21st completed game (would have been 22nd but SR4 has new DLC.) The achievement streak has increased to 287 in 56 days.

 

Peggle 2 Story Complete

A session on Peggle 2 saw nine unlocks and the completion of the story which paves the way for the launching of the X360 Dash but more on that tomorrow. Trolled (50G) unlocked for completing every level in Mountain Highs while Ace'd! (25G) swung in for beating my first Ace score.

Superior Shot (5G) unlocked for earning three free balls on a single shot with Found Frozen Friends (50G popping up for completing every level in Winter Blunderland.

Found So Many Contraptions (50G) unlocked for completing every level in Gnorman's Gneighbourhood while Not Too Scary (50G) popped up for completing every level on  Gravely Grove.

Opt-in (25G) unlocked for completing 30 optional objectives soon followed by Peggle Master (100G) for completing every level Celestial Realm level.


The night ended with the unlocking of Institutionalized (25G) for completing every trial in the Peggle Institute and in doing so brought the achievement streak up to 274 in 55 days with the target of 300 in 60 days still a possibility.

Peggle 2 Makes For Puzzling Play

My first digital purchase on Xbox One was Peggle 2 and an hour of play saw three unlocks beginning with I Got a Fever (5G) for clearing all the orange pegs on a level while Stylin' (25G) popped up for getting 75,000 styleshot points in a single shot.

The night ended with Toured the Campus (50G) unlocked for completing every level in the Peggle Institute and brought my current achievement streak to 265 unlocks in 54 days.
