Angry Birds Star Wars Smashes

A three hour session on Angry Birds Star Wars saw six unlocks which brought up the 4250th achievement while continuing the streak which now sits at 26 days totalling 108 achievements and the unlocking which began with Jedi Knight (15G) for using a saber to smash 500 blocks while That's No Moon (15G) shone in for completing Tattooine.

Falcon Escape (15G) unlocked for causing 100% destruction with a Mighty Falcon while Skilled Pilot (20G) flew in for using the Pilot to smash 500 blocks.

Imperial Entanglement (15G) unlocked for popping a Stormtrooper with the tip of a Tie Fighter's wing and finally Walking Carpet (20G) popped up for getting six direct hits on Chewbacca from the same turret.

AlphaJax Double In 300th Post

A quick go on AlphaJax saw a double unlock which began with Soverign Vanquisher (10G) for winning a game with double the points of the opponent and Wordsmithery Persistency (10G) unlocked for winning ten games.

Uno Goes Gifting

A quick go on Uno brought up the 100th achievement of my streak which now sits at 24 days thanks to the unlocking of Keep on Giving (5G) for sending five gifts during a game.

Uno Goes Green

A quick go on Uno saw my achievement streak break new ground as I set a new record of 23 days totalling 99 achievements which came after earning Go Green! (5G) for changing the colour to green five times via a wildcard.

Angry Birds Star Wars Collects

A good couple of hours on Angry Birds Star Wars saw a brilliant haul of nine achievements which began with The Birds Will Be With You (20G) for completing ten level using only one bird while Prominent Jedi (15G) popped up for deflecting three laser with a single saber swing.

Lack of Faith (15G) unlocked for 100 level restarts while Simple Pigs and Nonsense (20G) popped up for popping a total of 300 Stormtroopers.


Probe Explorer (15G) unlocked for finding the first droid level which was swiftly followed by Mighty Launch (15G) popped up for launching a Mighty Falcon.

Target Shooter (15G) unlocked for shooting three pigs with a single blaster shot while There is no Try (20G) popped up for playing a multiplayer game with four people.

 Finally unlocking was Well, look at you! (15G) unlocked for earning my first bonus score in a multiplayer match.

Angry Birds Star Wars Zaps To 360

After the success of its app on Windows 8, Angry Birds Star Wars has come to the Xbox 360 and on the first hour of play, I unlocked five achievements beginning with Impressive (15G) for earning my first character sticker.

Thank the Maker! (15G) unlocked for earning my first extra content while Jedi Initiate (15G) swung in for using a saber to smash 50 blocks.


There's No-One Here (15G) unlocked for causing a Stormtrooper to shoot a fellow trooper and Most Impressive (20G) popped up for collecting ten character stickers.

Uno Racks Up Games

A quick go on Uno saw two unlocks beginning with Uno Centennial (5G) for playing a total of 100 cards while Primo Player (5G) unlocked for playing a total of 10 games.

FIFA 12 Shows Tekkers

An evening on FIFA 12 saw four unlocks beginning with Legendary (30G) for winning a game vs the CPU on Legendary difficulty against a similar skilled club while 10 vs 11 (10G) popped up for winning after being behind and a an down vs the CPU.

Comeback Kid (15G) unlocked for winning after being three goals down in the second half vs the CPU and Riding Bikes (50G) kicked in for scoring with a bicycle kick which took a lot of effort and the final result is shown in the following video.

 

FIFA 12 Levels Up

A quick play on FIFA 12 saw the unlocking of EAS FC Starting 11 (30G) for reaching level 20 in the EA Sports Football Club which came due to the fact I had reached Level 20 between versions 13 and 14 and luckily this achievement is backwards compatible.

Uno Boosts

A quick go on Uno and Friends saw the unlocking of Power-Ups! (5G) for using five boosts.

A World of Keflings And Batman Arkham Origins Begin

Two new games on the achievement chase entered yesterday beginning with A World of Keflings which had an opening unlock of All You Need Is Doug (5G) for thawing out poor frozen Doug while the long-awaited Batman Arkham Origins also started with a solitary unlock in the shape of City of Assassins (10G) for identifying Black Mask's assassins.

Uno Goes Wild

A quick go on Uno saw the unlocking of I See Cards of Blue! (5G) for changing the colour to blue with a wildcard five times.

Uno Deals An Unlock

A new free release on Windows 8 is Uno so I downloaded and quickly unlocked Bonus Complete! (5G) for completing a bonus objective.

October Summary

October has been brilliant with the main boost coming from a record Weekender and this month is the last with the X360 as the sole achievement provider with the XONE entering the fray from November 22nd.

A quick go on Cut The Rope saw the achievement streak continue and signal the final acheivement of the month in the shape of Tummy Teaser (10G) for having Om Nom open his mouth ten times in a row.
