Rayman Legends Completes Origins Mode

After reaching a huge goal for the year in the shape of the TA points haul, I decided to set a number of goals to see if 2014 would become my most successful year overall and all three categories are well within reach.

However, the day saw time for only a brief play session which took place on Rayman Legends and resulted in two unlocks beginning with Master of the locks (30G) for breaking all of the locks on the paintings and was soon followed by Old School (30G) for finishing all of the Back to Origins paintings.

Crimson Dragon Combines With Fixed Unlocks

August 7th will be a famous day in 2014 for My Xbox Achievement Adventure as yesterday saw the TA points haul of 2013 beaten inside eight months of 2014 as I reached a total of 23,016 which smashed past the target total of 22,765.

The day began with a session on Crimson Dragon which featured three unlocks beginning with Equipped for Battle (10G) for using an Ampoule during a mission and was soon followed by Focused Willpower (40G) for killing 200 enemies using the dragon's secondary skill.

Antibody Archivist (15G) unlocked after collecting 18 different antibodies from creatures on Draco. Later on while catching up on posts from previous days, I spotted that my TA points and gamerscore had randomly increased so after some investigation, I saw that the glitched unlocks from July had finally popped up.

The two unlocks were Everywhere (10G) for taking part in all the challenges on the Xbox One version of Rayman Legends and New Age Gamer (5G) for uploading 20 phrases from Xbox One games on Voice Studio. 

Crimson Dragon Kills As Rayman Legends Goes Diamond

An evening session on the Xbox One took place across two games beginning with Rayman Legends and a single unlock in the shape of Swiped clean! (30G) for saving all the Teensies in a world and winning a Diamond Cup.Next up was a stint on Crimson Dragon which featured four unlocks beginning with Primary Plus (40G) for killing 200 enemies with the dragon's main skill.

Treasure Hunter (20G) unlocked after looting a rare item and 25 common items and was swiftly followed by Vermin Exterminator (30G) for killing 500 enemies. 

Close Call! (15G) ended the session by unlocking after using a regenerator to revive a dragon during a mission.

Crimson Dragon Pops To The Shop

A quick go on Crimson Dragon resulted in a single unlock in the form of First Time Buyer (15G) for purchasing an item pack using credits or jewels.

Crimson Dragon Trains Up

Continuing the Games With Gold trend, I went over to the Xbox One and began Crimson Dragon with the result of an hour long session being five unlocks beginning with Do a Barrel Roll! (15G) which unlocked for performing a barrel roll followed by Easy Pickings (25G) for killing 50 enemy creatures.

Act of Courage (10G) unlocked after starting the first mission with Icarus Division which was swiftly followed by Piece of Cake (10G) for achieving a C or higher on any mission.


The session ended with the unlocking of Skill Awakening (15G) for feeding a new skill to a dragon.

Motocross Madness Crashes And Drifts

A brief session on Motocross Madness featured two unlocks beginning with Crash Test Dummy (5G) for crashing while riding at 100mph while Eat My Dust (5G) popped up for performing a drift of 400ft.

Motocross Madness And Rayman Legends Collect Cups

A mixed session across both Xbox consoles began with the Xbox 360 and Motocross Madness which is this one of the Games With Gold for August and saw a single unlock in the session in the form of Rival Rookie (10G) for finishing in first place in Rivals. 

Later on, I went on the Xbox One and had a brief stint on Rayman Legends and came away with one unlock in the shape of On the way to the top (20G) for winning a Silver Cup at the end of a Challenge.
