Darkness, Drugs and Renovations in Mafia III

A day spent across the three DLC packs on Mafia III amassing nine unlocks beginning with ...Worse Than Dying (50G) for killing Bonnie Harless and ending the main story on the Sign of the Times pack. 

This led to Barkeep (30G) for beginning the renovation of Sammy's (the complete renovation takes a lot of in-game funds and time so be prepared for a long task). 

During the aforementioned renovations path, the unlock of Amateur Bouncer (30G) arrived after defending Sammy's from the Dixie Mafia. 

A move into the Faster Baby! pack began with Another Brother Falls (10G) after surviving the drive into Sinclair Parish. 

Kickin' Up Dust (30G) popped after helping MJ and Roxy set the Witnesses free and was soon followed by Trap Game Strong (30G) for successfully triggering ten vehicle traps. 

Ain't Nowhere Safer (50G) unlocked after capturing the main villain in Slim Beaumont and soon joined by Concerned Citizens (30G) after helping Irma, Jeremiah and Christian. 

The session ended with Campaign Strategy (30G) after destroying ten of Slim's re-election billboards. 

Gears Pop Pop's As Mafia III Goes Dark

A newly revealed update for Gears Pop led to a short play session to see if progress could be made towards at least one unlock. Success came in the form of Sergeant (20G) for reaching Player Level 10. 

Later on in the day, a short session on Mafia III saw the Cult DLC continue with Haunted Places (30G) for investigating 'Three places of Darkness'. 

Spins And Bingo At the Four Kings Casino

Another day where play continued on The Four Kings Casino And Slots and unlocks began with Piles of Tiles (10G) for playing 100 spins in the Winds of Fortune in one sitting. Next up was a completely random pop in Why So Serious (10G) for having the Big 6 wheel land on the Joker.

The More the Merrier (5G) popped after participating in a Bingo game with 20 or more people and the session concluded with All in a day's work (10G) for completing all daily quests in a day. 

Slots And Keno At The Four Kings Casino

Progress on The Four Kings Casino And Slots continued today (3rd) with a total of five unlocks starting with You Chose... Poorly (10G) for activating every possible trap in the Treasure Trap at least once. Jungle Journey (10G) swung in after playing 100 spins on Treasure Trap.

Goose Egg ( 5G) hatched after matching zero numbers in Instant Keno when choosing ten and was soon followed by Who You Gonna Call? (5G) for playing the Millionaire Manor bonus round. 

The session came to an end with Paranormal Activity (25G) after playing the Millionaire Manor bonus round five times in one sitting. 

Bowling On The Four Kings Casino And Slots

Another bust day meant a short play session and again chose The Four Kings Casino And Slots with the single unlock of Head in the Gutter (5G) for throwing a Gutterball. 

 

Entering Into The Four Kings Casino And Slots

A busy start to February with catching up on the previous posts meant only a short gaming session and chose to start a new game but one I've seen a friend enjoy recently in The Four Kings Casino And Slots. 

Just two unlocks today starting with Big Wheel Keeps On Spinnin' (10G) after spinning the Big 6 Wheel ten times in one sitting with Ghost in the Machine (10G) popping for getting a big win in Millionaire Manor. 

 

January Becomes the Best Ever Gaming Month

It seems a long time an age since I did monthly summary on this blog but with the reboot this year, its a great month to start with as January 2021 became the best month across the main statistics. This was aided by the two challenges in the month -Microsoft 10K and True Achievement Warboats.

The previous best month of May 2020 had totals of 350 achievements, 23649 TA points and 15381 G so when compared with this month, its more than just a little improvement and I imagine these records will last for a while. 

One thing that this year is focussed on is completing more games than starting new ones and the opening month as shown above does that with 13 completed and 12 started. The other total of 37 games played overall is a staggering one given last year only saw 128 played across the entire year.
