Warboats Sees First Sinking

Today saw some Warboats success bit more on that later, the day began with a session on Call of Duty Advanced Warfare with four unlocks starting with Sitting Ducks (10G) for killing three enemies on 'Manhunt with the Sniper Drone. 

Next up was Born To Die (20G) for completing the 'Manhunt' Mission and was soon followed by Where Are You Going (10G) after stopping an AST with an EMP grenade. 

The session ended with Betrayal (20G) for completing the 'Utopia' mission and this unlock is a Warboats one but sadly it resulted in a MISS.

The above MISS meant that the first sinking was in sight with just one HIT needed to complete a boat of three squares. This saw a move onto Assassin's Creed Unity with the unlock needed being one that would take some effort and see other things pop on the way. Beginning with First Blood (20G) for completing Memory Sequence 3. 

Next up was a guaranteed unlock in pursuit of the main one called Falling From The Sky (5G) after performing 10 Air Assassinations and was a surprise on Warboats even more so as it scored a HIT (a new boat). Chopped! (20G) popped soon after for killing 20 enemies with a Heavy Weapon and La Cour Des Miracles (20G) followed for completing Memory Sequence 4 and was another Warboats surprise but this time a MISS.

The session ended with the goal unlock of Blade In The Crowd (20G) for performing a total of 100 Assassinations, as expected on Warboats it was a HIT and with a sinking meant the earning of the Community Challenge Badge (shown below).

Later in the day, there was a shot play on Death Squared as it had been mentioned in a TA news post and saw a single unlock in the form of Cleanest Run (50G) for completing nine consecutive levels without dying. 

COD Advanced Warfare Motors On

 

A short play session for Monday 18th on Call of Duty Advanced Warfare resulting in a single unlock of Motor City (25G) for completing the 'Aftermath' mission. 

The unlock was also a Warboats inclusion but turned out to be a MISS. 

Exploring & Shooting End The Week

 A wide selection of games today began with the continuation of
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition which saw four unlocks in an early session. First up was Big Game Hunter (10G) followed around an hour later by Unfinished Business (20G) for completing a challenge. 

The unlocking of Taste's Like Chicken! (15G) came up next with the session ending with Bookworm (10G). Both are included in the Warboats challenge and there was mixed success with a HIT and MISS. 

The afternoon session saw a quick play on the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed Black Flag with a single unlock in the form of Excavator (10G) for finding a buried treasure and this was also part of the Warboats challenge though this time, the result was a MISS. 

Tomb Raider DE resumed with the unlocks of Down and Dirty (15G) for performing 15 finishers and Gunslinger (10G) for killing 35 enemies with the Pistol. The latter saw another MISS in the Warboats challenge. 

Ahead of and during the LIV/MU match, saw a session on Titanfall with a lot of effort needed for an unlock towards the Warboats challenge. In game progression saw three unlocks come along starting with Halfway There (25G) for reaching level 25 (Began the session on Level 19) followed by I Could Get Used To This (10G) for using five Titan Burn cards. 

Death From Above (25G) was next for killing five enemies via a Titan crush and then finally an hour later, Superior In Every Way (25G) popped for killing 1000 AI enemies and the joy soon doubled as it became a HIT on Warboats.

After an evening break, play moved on to the Xbox One version of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare with a haul of eight unlocks, three being part of the Warboats challenge. First up was Deadeye (10G) for scoring an 'excellent' in the Atlas shooting range with Grenadier (10G) popping after scoring an 'excellent' in the Grenade range. 

Completing that mission saw Welcome to Atlas (25G) pop and was one of the Warboats unlocks but sadly a MISS.

Next up was Life in the Fast Lane (25G) for completing the 'Traffic' mission. 

Riot Control (10G) popped next after killing 20 enemies via the Mobile Cover Drone and was swiftly followed by Fire and Forget (10G) for killing 10 enemies using the Mobile Turret. 

The final two unlocks of the session were both Warboats inclusions and also both sadly landing as a MISS.  They were Radioactive (20G) for completing the 'Fission' mission and Second Skin (10G) for spending 10 EXO upgrade points. 

The day ended with a rapid play on Polychromatic in order to tick One-Life Beginner (15G) for reaching 50,000 points in One-Life mode and brought the day's totals to 20 unlocks and 315G.

Aero Fighters Final Landing Ahead Of A Warboats Hit

The play session from Friday on ACA NeoGeo Aero Fighters continued with the last two unlocks of High Score 200,000 points (80G) and High Score 300,000 points (100G) reached meaning an eighth game completion of the year. Only the former was required on Warboats and sadly another MISS.

Next up was a quick play on Astroneer with the unlock of EXO Dynamics Outreach Participant (10G) for joining or hosting an online session which proved tough as the server isn't too reliable. The unlock proved its worth on Warboats with a first HIT.

Play moved on to Penarium with some work needed to reach the intended unlock, two levels were passed before the one needed was completed resulting in the pop of Cheer Up Kiddo! (20G). After the earlier Warboats success, this one followed in its path with another HIT and a good location of the first boat. 

The day's play ended with a move over to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition which has a total of six unlocks listed on the Warboats grid so will be played a fair amount in pursuit of some of the harder ones. Today saw just the unlock of One Smart Cookie (20G) for finding one optional tomb.
