Windows 8 Free Games Added as Bioshock Infinite Burns On

More Windows 8 games have been added to my collection due to a deal where they are free for the week so i started with Shuffle Party and scored an early unlock in X marks the spot (10G) for hitting a strike in bowling while Gobble Gobble (25G) popped up for hitting three consecutive strikes in Bowling.

Payday (10G) unlocked for buying an item in the Pro Shop and Roadhouse Billy (10G) popped up for scoring five or more in a Shuffle-board round.


Hanger (10G) unlocked for scoring a 'Hanger' in Shuffle-board while Challenger (10G) popped up for completing a challenge with three gold stars.

Next was I-Stunt 2 and a single unlock in the shape of Graduation (5G) for completing the tutorial level. A quick go on Bioshock Infinite saw Master of Pyrotechnics (5G) unlock for killling 20 enemies with the Barnstormer RPG.

Bioshock Infinite Displays Vigors

Continuing on Bioshock Infinite and after some real battling effort including rescuing Elizabeth from the tower and exploring the Hall of Heroes, I unlocked Shock Tactics (10G) for retrieving Shock Jockey and was swiftly followed by Vigorous Opposition (50G) for killing 75 enemies with a vigor or while under the effects of a vigor.

First Class Ticket (10G) unlocked for successfully boarding the First Lady Airship while Coins in a Cushion (10G) popped up for looting 200 containers.


Not too bad for a couple of hours work and already beaten the accolades from a poor March.

 

Adera Episode 4 Hits A Snag As Bejeweled Hits Windows 8

Usually a new episode of Adera means the re-completion of the game but due to a glitch only five of the six achievements have been unlocked leaving the game open.

The episode began with the unlocking of The Tower (20G) for finding the way inside Amaro's Tower and soon after Bookworm (15G) popped up for going inside Amaro's hidden library.

Invisible Reader (15G) unlocked for revealing the contents of the secret note found within the library and We Have Liftoff (30G) popped up for successfully building Amaro's flying machine and completing the story side of the episode.

Next was to attempt the missed achievements with the first soon unlocking successfully, Master Cartographer (10G) for finding all the landmarks through the observatory telescope inside two minutes but despite several successful attempts, Master Astronomer just would not unlock so it its glitched for now and leaves the game incomplete and means I stay on 20 completed games.



Bejeweled downloaded for Windows 8 and within an hour's play I score eight unlocks beginning with Friendly Fire (5G) for igniting a Flame gem while Superstar (35G) popped up for matching six gems in one row.

Master Blaster (5G) unlocked for destroying fifty gems in a single move and Diamond Miner (15G) popped up for digging to 200m in Diamond Mine.

Butterfly Bonanza (5G) unlocked for collecting five butterflies at once while Butterfly Guardian (10G) popped up for saving 70 butterflies in a single game.

Butterfly Monarch (10G) unlocked for reaching a score of 250,000 on Butterfly mode and Chroma-Collector (10G) popped up for using all 20 colours.

Thirteen achievements for a total of 185G is amazing for one day as it is close to the total for the entire of March. 

Bioshock Infinite Explores

Continuing on Bioshock Infinite and a quick unlock in the form of Dress For Success (5G) for equipping gear in all four slots and swiftly followed by A Real Pistol (5G) for killing 25 enemies with the Broadsider Pistol.

Welcome To Monument Island (10G) unlocked for reaching Monument Island and continuing the journey.

A good start to April with four achievements for 25 points with a new episode of Adera on the horizon.

March Summary

Due to spending most days off work with my girlfriend the 360 has taken a massive step back for the month.

Bioshock Infinite Takes To The Skies

Another new game in the shape of Bioshock Infinite and a quick unlock which was Written In The Clouds (5G) for completing Lighthouse.

Fifa Street Shows Skills

Felt like something different so got out Fifa Street and had a goon the World Tour mode and unlocked National Street Champion (25G) for winning Stage 2 of the tour and in doing so up popped Local Heroes (25G) for winning the national final with eight created players in my team.

Then while on Stage 3, I played a 2v2 Panna game and unlocked Very Entertaining (25G) for earning 1500 style points without losing possession before going off for the night.

Sleeping Dogs Enters The Year Of The Snake Pt 2

Three achievements and a lot of missions to go I continued on the DLC and unlocked Cult Master (50G) for successfully defeating the cultists and soon up popped Hong Kong's Finest (20G) for completing all secondary content.

Finally, Goodie Master (15G) unlocked for searching for and collecting all the Evidence bags and in doing so completed the DLC package and re-completed the game making it the 21st completed game.

Sleeping Dogs Enters The Year Of The Snake Pt1

Despite having already completed Sleeping Dogs  along comes more DLC meaning I have to successfully complete that to have the game back in my completed list.

A quick unlock started the return to completion with Bomb Squad (15G) unlocking for completing the first mission.

Tomb Raider Begins An Adventure

In what has been a poor month for X360 playtime, finally I have got around to playing Tomb Raider and after a lot of effort secured my first unlock which was One Smart Cookie (20G) for completing my first successful tomb raid.

Rayman Jungle Run Begins

A new release on Windows 8 was Rayman Jungle Run and scored three quick unlocks beginning with Starters (1G) for collecting 100 Lums while Hors d'oeuvres (4G) for collecting 500 Lums.

Stubborn (5G) unlocked for ten consecutive retries on the same level.

Jetpack Joyride Takes Flight

Even though I am holiday due to my girlfriend falling asleep early, I went on Jetpack Joyride and got four quick unlocks beginning with Spice of Life (5G) for riding every vehicle on the game while Happy Snap (5G) popped up for sharing an Action Shot.

Not So Green (5G) unlocked for completing 10 missions and Gold Digger (10G) popped up for collecting 20 coins while dead.
