CRAB Challenge Spree Sees Badge Success

A trilogy post to span the weekend as the CRAB challenge saw the goal of 15 reached and the community badge earned early on Monday morning. The weekend's sessions began with Gears Pop continuing from the night before with three unlocks. The unlocks began with Territorial (30G) after capturing 1000 cover pieces in Versus. 

Never Go Alone (30G) popped after playing Horde with 20 different allies and the session ended with Major (50G) for reaching max player level 20.

Play moved on to FIFA 17 in order to continue the CRAB challenge and in the process, Can't Believe You Fell For That (15G) popped after scoring a penalty after stuttering. The goal unlock came in the form of 100% (30G) after winning a penalty shoot-out without missing. 

The challenge continued with a move on to Call of Duty: Ghosts and the unlocking of Blimey O'Riley (10G) after pouncing on ten enemies while in control of Riley. 

Another move saw play on Brawlhalla and after some effort in battles, up popped Practice Makes Perfect (15G) for reaching level five with two legends (had done one already in the past). 

The day ended with more progress towards the goal unlock on Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut which was sandwiched by two other unlocks which began with Strike Three! (80G) for killing three or more targets with a single blast of the Raptor's cannon. 

The goal unlock arrived in Take One For The Team (70G) after surviving a direct hit from a torpedo in the Maruader and the session ended with Lucky Strike (100G) for destroying a Black Fleet interceptor with rockets. 

Sunday began with more progress on the CRAB challenge and play on Borderlands: Game of The Year Edition with the sole unlock being the goal unlock of Reckless Abandon (15G) for killing 15 enemies using the Berserker's action skill. 

Continuing the CRAB challenge progress, play moved to Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and the session began with Who Constructs The Constructor? (20G) after completing the mission 'Let's Build a Robot Army'. The goal unlock popped later on in the form of Helios Rising (20G) for completing the mission ' Home Sweet Home'. 

The run continued with Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 and again just a goal unlock in the form of Promoted (15G) after winning promotion to a top league in Master League. 

Just one more unlock was needed in order to reach 15 and unlock the CRAB challenge community badge and it would come on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare but a few came before it starting with Crates on a Plane (30G) after completing the mission 'Sentinel'. 

History in the Making (15G) popped after collecting half of the Intel on the game and was swiftly followed by The Destroyer Returns (30G) after completing the mission 'Crash'. 

The session continued into Monday and within five minutes of the day beginning, the goal unlock was achieved but firstly came the popping of Restricted Airspace (10G) for EMP'ing ten aircraft with the Hovertank in 'Bio Lab'. 

Next up was the planned unlock of Irons In The Fire (30G) for completing the mission 'Bio Lab' and the awarding of the CRAB community badge. 

The session ended with We Have The Technology (25G) after spending 20 EXO upgrade points. 

Gears Pop Captures And Earns

Ahead of the planned server closure at the end of the month, Gears Pop continued with four unlocks over Thursday/Friday. Thursday's session began with War Chest 2 (15G) after earning 200,000 coins. For Sera (10G) unlocked after killing the enemy leader with the Hammer of Dawn in Versus.

Friday's session began with Ankle Buster (10G) after clearing 50 Horde waves and was soon followed by Superiority Complex (30G) for winning 100 Versus battles without losing any outposts.

Shred It Complete While CRAB Features Sport, Space & Shooting

After Tuesday's play created the final pathway to completion, Shred It resumed with the final three unlocks wrapping up the aforementioned completion. The session opened with my 10,000th Xbox One unlock in Sticker Master (100G) for completing the Sticker Board. 

Fashionista (15G) walked in after purchasing a new outfit and instantly led to Completionist (150G) for unlocking all other achievements. 

Continuing the CRAB challenge saw a quick play on Super Party Sports: Football with the sole unlock of Master (20G) after finishing all levels in Cup 5. 

Later on, play moved to Ultratron and again a sole unlock in the form of Lues (75G) after defeating Lues. 

The day ended with a session on Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut with a CRAB unlock the goal but only progress towards it while the sole unlock was Strike Suit Combo (80G) after destroying five targets at once in Strike Mode. 

Metal Slug 2 Complete While CRAB Features Golf & Snowboarding

After Sunday's CRAB unlock, ACA NEOGEO Metal Slug 2 continued in to the new week with the final two unlocks wrapping up the completion starting with Hi Score Mode 600,000 points (80G) for scoring 600,000 points on Hi Score Mode.

The completion arrived after many attempts with the popping of Hi Score Mode 1,000,000 points (100G) after scoring 1,000,000 points on Hi Score Mode which took a lot of effort. 

The day ended with a short play on The Golf Club in order to tick off another CRAB challenge unlock in the form of Pinned (20G) after striking the pin while the ball is airborne off the green. 

Tuesday saw a split session on Shred It! as there was potential to build towards completion and the day saw seven unlocks overall starting with Time Traveller Rufus (50G) after completing the Checkpoint Challenge with Rufus. 

Next up was Time Traveller Jessie (50G) after Checkpoint Challenge with Jessie and soon after Time Traveller Parker (50G) popped after completing Checkpoint Challenge with Parker. 

The evening session began with a return to to the Endless mode with Gold Feather (90G)  flying in after collecting 15 gold feathers in a single run. Returning to the earlier mode saw Time Traveller Frappe (50G) unlock after completing Checkpoint Challenge with Frappe. 

Time Traveller Erik (50G) popped after completing Checkpoint Challenge with Erik and the day ended with Time Traveller Champion (200G) unlocking after completing Checkpoint Challenge with all Boarders. 

Crab Challenges Continues With Sledding/Shooting & Basketball

 

Saturday's play saw another CRAB challenge session this time on Shred IT!. Work needed to be done in order to reach the target unlock and began with Timed Traveller (90G) for completing the Checkpoint Challenge. 

Time Traveller Pengz (50G) slid in after completing the Checkpoint Challenge with Pengz and soon after the goal unlock of Time Traveller Cosmo (50G) after completing the Checkpoint Challenge with Cosmo. 

                                                                   

Sunday's play began with a return to 3 on 3 Freestyle and the goal unlock of Leave Me Alone (15G) for winning 10 matches on 1 vs 1 mode. 

The evening play saw pursuit of another goal unlock on ACA Neogeo Metal Slug 2 in the form of Score 1,500,000 points (80G)  after scoring 1,500,000 points.
