Halo:TMCC Goes Skull Hunting

After a delay between posts, the catch-up begins with the 14th which saw a long session on Halo: The Master Chief Collection with my co-op partner Tonyboykid which resulted in a superb haul of 14 achievements beginning with Mystery Achievement (5G) which came after a secret file name save in the Theater (.fortune) and was soon followed by Tempered Blade (5G) for winning 10 multiplayer games.

Skulltaker Halo: CE: Famine (5G) unlocked for finding and claiming the Famine Skull on Halo CE with Idle Hands (5G) popping up for activating Terminal 4 on The Silent Cartographer.

Why Am I Here? (5G) unlocked for viewing a hidden message on the Halo 2 map Beaver Creek and was followed by Sid Graffiti (5G) for spotting the Sid graffiti on the wall of the Halo 2 map Coagulation. 

Why So Serious (5G) unlocked for viewing the smiling face on the Halo 2 map Coagulation with Animal Habitat (5G) popping up after spotting the hippo on the walls of the Halo 2 map Headlong. 

High Altitude Thirst (5G) unlocked after finding and destroying the BLAST soda can on the Halo 2 map Zenith with Decorated Warrior (10G) popping up after being awarded at least 10 different medals in a single online game. 

Thirst Locked Down! (5G) unlocked after finding and destroying the BLAST soda can on the Halo 2 map Lockdown with Cold Fusion (5G) popping up after killing an opponent by detonating a Fusion Coil.

Cold as Ice (10G) unlocked after killing an opponent with the aid of the hanging ice on the Halo 2 map Lockdown and the session reached its end after the popping up of Counter-Sniped (10G) for using a Sniper Rifle to killed an enemy that was zoomed in on my character. 

The following day saw another stint on Halo: The Master Chief Collection ending with a trio of achievements starting with A Day To Remember (5G) for playing Halo: CE on the 15th of any month.

Skulltaker Halo: CE: Bandana (5G) unlocked for finding and claiming the Bandanna skull on Halo: CE before The Silent Cartographer (10G) popped up for completing the level of the same name.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Kills and Collects

Another session on Halo: The Master Chief Collection and a nice haul of nine achievements which began with Skulltaker Halo: CE: Foreign (5G) for finding and claiming the Foreign skull in remastered mode. Splinters (5G) popped up for activating Terminal 3 on The Truth and Reconciliation.


Truth and Reconciliation (10G) unlocked for completing the level of the same name on Halo CE: while Gruntageddon (10G) popped up after killing 1000 Grunts.


Megg (10G) unlocked after discovering a secret sign on The Pillar of Autumn and in the same level, My Buddy Chips (5G) popped up for fighting alongside Chips Dubbo and listening to his words of wisdom.

All Out of Bubblegum (10G) unlocked after collecting 1,000 unique campaign or playlist medals while Walk It Off (10G) popped up for completing The Pillar of Autumn on Legendary difficulty without picking up a health kit.

Overshields are for Sissies (10G) ended the session and the day itself after it unlocked for completing The Pillar of Autumn.

4 Elements II Combines with Halo:TMCC

The session from the previous day carried over into the next and led to seven further achievements on Halo: The Master Chief Collection which began with Arrival (5G) for activating Terminal 1 on The Pillar of Autumn on Halo CE:. Skulltaker Halo: CE: Mythic (5G) popped up for finding and claiming the Mythic skull in remastered mode.


Spoilsport (5G) unlocked for killing 100 Jackals while Just a Taste (5G) popped up for collecting 500 campaign or playlist medals.

Feet Firmly Planted (10G) unlocked for completing a level on Halo CE: without jumping and I chose the first level - The Pillar of Autumn and in doing so resulted in the popping up of Didn't Like This Ship Anyways (10G) for beating the par time on The Pillar of Autumn.


The session ended with the unlocking of All According to Plan... (10G) for killing the first group of enemies on Halo CE: The Truth and Reconcilliation without being detected. Later on, I had an hour long session on 4 Elements II and came away with a duo of unlocks starting with Glorious Journey (10G) for creating a chain of 20 or more chips.

Child of Flame (10G) brought the day to a close when it unlocked after using the Magic Fire 140 times.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's Devastates On Debut

After a superb build-up of trailers and gameplay, launch day finally arrived for Halo: The Master Chief Collection with a brilliant evening debut which saw 17 achievements awarded while accompanied in co-op by Tonyboykid  at times and began with the aptly named Your Journey Begins (5G) for completing a mission or match. Digging up the Past (5G) popped up for accessing the Master Chief's record on Dawn in Halo 4.


Just Getting Started (5G) unlocked after killing 100 enemies or players which resulted in the instant popping up of Balaho's Most Wanted (5G) for killing 100 Grunts.



Dawn (10G)  unlocked for completing the level of the same name on Halo 4 with The One Percent (5G) popping up for killing 100 Elites.

 

Cairo Station (10G) unlocked for completing the Halo 2 level Cairo Station and was soon followed by Skulltaker Halo: CE: Iron (5G) for finding and claiming the Iron Skull in remastered mode on Halo CE:.

Bro Hammer (10G) unlocked for completing a level in co-op on Legendary difficulty and stacked with Brovershield (10G) for completing any co-op level on Heroic difficulty.

Continuing the stackable unlocks, Standard Operating Brocedure (10G) unlocked for completing any co-op level on Normal difficulty while Pillar of Autumn (10G) popped up for completing the Halo CE: level The Pillar of Autumn. 

Where Am I? (5G) unlocked for completing 10 missions or multiplayer games with Sacrifice (5G) popping up for activating Terminal 2 on Halo in Halo CE:. The day ended with the unlocking of Skulltaker Halo: CE: Boom (5G) for finding and claiming the Boom skull in remastered mode on Halo CE:.
