A brief session on Motocross Madness featured two unlocks beginning with Crash Test Dummy (5G) for crashing while riding at 100mph while Eat My Dust (5G) popped up for performing a drift of 400ft.

Motocross Madness And Rayman Legends Collect Cups

A mixed session across both Xbox consoles began with the Xbox 360 and Motocross Madness which is this one of the Games With Gold for August and saw a single unlock in the session in the form of Rival Rookie (10G) for finishing in first place in Rivals. 

Later on, I went on the Xbox One and had a brief stint on Rayman Legends and came away with one unlock in the shape of On the way to the top (20G) for winning a Silver Cup at the end of a Challenge. 

Motocross Madness Drifts in

A new month means a new set of Games With Gold downloads and the first Xbox 360 freebie came in the shape of Motocross Madness which after an hour of play saw seven unlocks beginning with Training Wheels (5G) for completing the tutorial. Welcome to the club (10G) popped up for finishing the first club task.

Absolutely Fabulous (15G) unlocked after completing three Avatar Famestar weekly challenges and was soon followed by Rad Racer (10G) for winning the first gold medal.


You did it! (5G) unlocked after reaching skill level two and was instantly joined by Rebel Without a Cause (5G) which popped up after purchasing a new bike.


The session ended with the unlocking of Mechanical Prowess (10G) for purchasing an upgrade for a bike.

July 2014 Summary

July has continued the fine streak of reaching a century of achievements during the month and as a result means that the 2013 records will almost certainly be caught and beaten by the time of the next monthly summary.

The illusive 100k gamerscore is still on course to be reached before the end of the year.

Charlie Murders The Boss

A brief session on Charlie Murder resulted in a single unlock in the shape of I Brought Down a Giant (10G) which unlocked for defeating the Boss Monster.

Voice Studio Pairs With Rayman Legends

The day began with a brief go on Voice Studio which resulted in a single unlock in the shape of Experienced Talker (5G) for completing and uploading three collections and later on I finished the day with a quick go on Rayman Legends which saw a single unlock in the form of Invaders! (20G) for making all of the Invasion paintings appear.

Rayman Legends Erases Dark Teensies

An evening session on Rayman Legends resulted in three unlocks beginning with Journey to the moon (40G) for getting rid of all five Dark Teensies and was soon followed by Splash! (10G) for completing the Gloo Gloo painting.

The session ended with They're so cute! (10G) for winning 30 creatures.

Rayman Legends Puts On a Show

A brief session on Rayman Legends resulted in a single unlock in the shape of Dragon Rider! (10G) for completing the Dragon's Slayer painting.

Voice Studio Combines With Burnout And Rayman

The day began with a quick go on the first Xbox One app to feature real unlocks in the shape of  Voice Studio with a single unlock in the form of New Talker (5G) for completing an uploading my first collection and then I moved onto Rayman Legends and scored a quick unlock in We could be heroes (20G) for unlocking 10 Heroes paintings in the Heroes Gallery.

The Crushinator! (15G) unlocked for scoring two vertical takedowns in a single race and was followed by Celebrity Status! (65G) for getting a clip into the Top 20 downloads.

AlphaJax Begins Eighth Year

It is hard to believe that I have been an Xbox gamer for seven full years since my first ever game and achievement back on July 26 2007 which came on Burnout Revenge, a game I looked to get an achievement on seven years apart but due to an Xbox Live problem was unable to. However, the day began with a completion in the form of AlphaJax.
 
Anodyne Supremacy (10G) unlocked for scoring a word worth more than 100 points and did so with the help of my friend Tonyboykid and the game became my 35th completion, 10th of 2014 and 20th arcade completion.


A quick stint on Rayman Legends on the 360 resulted in a single unlock in the shape of Swiped clean! (30G) for saving all the Teensies in a world to unlock a Diamond Cup. Next up was the latest Games With Gold title in the form of Battleblock Theater which resulted in five unlocks beginning with Cast Member (5G) for completing the opening sequence in any mode.

Nailfile Cake (5G) popped up for freeing a prisoner and was soon followed by Black Marketeer (5G) for getting a new weapon.


 Secret Finder (10G) unlocked for finding a secret level and the days ended with the popping up of Prison Food (5G) for being eaten alive.

 

AlphaJax Spelt With A Friend

A long team working session on AlphaJax with a friend also known as 'Tonyboykid' on Xbox Live resulted in a single but well worked unlock in the form of Alphajax! (5G) for placing the word ALPHAJAX on the board which took a lot of planning.
