FIFA14 Done As WSOP Begins

Finally, I have completed a FIFA game in finishing FIFA14 on Windows 8 with the final achievement of Pro Player (10G) unlocking after playing 100 matches which is very difficult when there is only mouse/touch controls but all in all it means my 29th completion.


As one game finishes, another begins as WSOP-Full House released for free on Windows 8 and after a short session I came away with seven unlocks which began with Get A Good Read (5G) for zooming in on a player at the table and was followed by The Odds Are Against It (15G) for folding on the turn with four cards out of a straight, luckily it didn't matter.

Aaron Has Left The Building (10G) unlocked for defeating the first Pro in Single Player Pro Takedown Tournament instantly followed by Mano a Mano (10G) for winning a Heads-Up Tournament.


Stay Informed (5G) unlocked for visiting the News tab while Multitasker (5G) popped up for customising my Avatar while at a table.



The night ended with Window Shopper (10G) unlocking for going directly to Featured Items.

Hexic Goes Social

A quick go on Hexic on Windows 8 resulted in the unlocking of Getting Social (10G) for sharing something on Facebook.

Kingdoms And Lords Fights

Another quick session on Kingdoms and Lords saw a single unlock with Barbarian General (10G) unlocking for defeating the Barbarian General.

Kingdoms And Lords Camps Out

A quick session on Kingdoms and Lords resulted in a single unlock in the shape of Roast Chicken Hobbyist (5G) for having ten campfires on the map.

Kingdoms And Lords Begins on Win 8

Another new game but a free one as Kingdoms and Lords released for Windows 8, a quick session resulted in six unlocks beginning with Advancement (5G) for completing both the tutorial and the first mission. Friends All Over the World (10G) popped up for accumulating more than ten friends which was done via my Xbox list.

Draw First Blood (10G) unlocked for winning the first fight with Defence Fortress (5G) popping up for establishing a defensive line.



One Step, One Footprint (10G) unlocked for raising the population to 150 and the night ended with Be First Blood (5G) for losing a fight.

I-Stunt 2 Hits The Hills

A quick session on I-Stunt 2 saw two unlocks beginning with Insane Hills Completed (15G) unlocked for completing the 'Insane Hills pack while Stadium Stunts Unlocked (10G) popped up for unlocking the 'Stadium Stunts' pack via 'Insane Hills.

Plants v Zombies Builds And Ranks Up

A good session on Plants v Zombies led to four unlocks beginning with Zombie Defence (10G) for building three Zombot Turrets in Gardens and Graveyards as an Engineer while Zombot Removal (15G) popped up for destroying ten Zombot Turrets in Gardens and Graveyards as a Plant.

Garden Tour (25G) unlocked for being on the winning team in Gardens and Graveyards 25 times with the night ending after Zomboss Recruit  popped up for reaching level five with every Zombie class.

Plants v Zombies Engineers

A good session on Plants v Zombies Garden Warfare resulted in two unlocks both while using the Engineer Zombie beginning with The Astral Plane (10G) for building three teleporters in a session of Gardens and Graveyards. Jackhammer Rush (10G) popped up for vanquishing ten players while riding the Jackhammer.

Glacier Blast Starts April

A busy day of monthly summaries saw time for a quick gaming session at the end of the night with a go on Glacier Blast resulting in a solitary unlock in the shape of The Destroyer (10G) for breaking a hundred Feud tiles.This was alongisde a session on Plants v Zombies Garden Warfare on Xbox One that saw no unlocks but a lot of progress towards a number of achievements.

March 2014 Summary

A stunning month of March became the best so far this year while continuing the run of 100+ unlocks per month and smashing last the total from March 2013 which was derailed my decorating project.

The rise has come mainly due to currently being out of work so when I get back into a job, the playtime will decrease naturally.

Hexic Begins On Windows 8

A busy day of blogging saw only time for a small gaming session so I snapped up Hexic on Windows 8 for free and got four unlocks beginning with Reaching the Stars (5G) for making a Flower Bomb while Five Alive (5G) popped up for creating a Colour Clear Hex from five hexes.


Quick Learner (5G) unlocked for successfully completing the Tutorial and the session ended with Invite a Friend (10G) for inviting a friend to play Hexic.
