June begins with Team Crossword, Jetpack Joyride and Doritos Crash Course 2

A poor total in May meant June needed to start well and within two hours of the new month, Team Crossword posted two new unlocks.

Community Leader (10G) unlocked during a multiplayer game for completing a word affected by a Community Hint while Power User (15G) popped up for utilising each power upon the game at least once.


In the afternoon, I went on Jetpack Joyride and after a good hour of effort on the collecting based achievements I was able to unlock six in quick succession beginning with James Who? (15G) for purchasing two jet-packs while Fuzzy Locks (5G) popped up for dying 99 times.


Pretty Woman (10G) unlocked for purchasing a matching set of clothing while Class Act (15G) popped up for flying over 1km while wearing the Classy Suit, Top Hat and Traditional Jet-pack.



For Science (5G) unlocked for knocking over 1000 scientists and finally Veteran (15G) popped up for completing 40 missions.

Doritos Crash Course 2 with my girlfriend and we unlocked Jungle Fever (25G) for unlocking every course marked with a trophy in the Amazon Jungle. 

May Summary

Due to spending most days off work with my girlfriend out an about as well as redecorating and renovating my bedroom for a good period of the month the 360 achievement chase suffered a big blow.

A truly horrific month for gaining any progress in the 2013 chase - June has to be massive to pull back the lack of current progress.

Doritos Crash Course 2 Dashes In

Another new game joins the list in the shape of Doritos Crash Course 2 and I got four quick unlocks in the playing session. On Course (10G) unlocked for finishing a trophy marked course without dying while Mission Control (15G) popped up for finishing a bonus objective.

One for the Road (10G) unlocked for unlocking a split path and Welcome to CC2 (5G) popped up for unlocking the first course.

and they came to 30G before another long break until now so in future updates will be more frequent and more detailed.

Team Crossword Hits Windows 8

After a long hiatus due to redecorating and a busy few weeks, the 2013 achievement chase has resumed with a new game in the shape of Team Crossword and six quick unlocks.

Word Domination (10G) unlocked for scoring 150 points on a single word while The Casual Crew (10G) slid in for completing a casual crossword with four players.

Stay Calm and Play On (10G) unlocked for filling a word that had been affected by a fellow player's bomb power-up.  Lord of the Words (5G) popped up for earning at least six thousand points in crossword score.

Word Champ (20G) unlocked for completing a multi-player crossword in first place while Big Winner (10G) popped up for earning five or more token awards in a single game.

April Summary

Due to spending most days off work with my girlfriend the 360 has taken a step forward from March but an average total in comparison with others.

Crash Course Go Runs On

A good hour on Crash Course Go saw six unlocks across the entirety of the game's levels and reach nine out of thirteen achievements. The first unlock was Euro Star (15G) for finishing the European levels while London Bridge (15G) popped up for surviving the collapsing bridge in London 5.

Hopscotch (15G) unlocked for jumping between trampolines 12 times consecutively swiftly followed by I'm Big in Japan (20G) for completing the Japanese levels.

Tarzan (15G) unlocked for swinging between ropes 10 times in a row and lastly That's Gotta Hurt (10G) popped up for getting smashed by three hammers in a row.

Monster Island and Crash Course Go Land On Windows 8

Another free game in the shape of Monster Island and five unlocks this morning beginning with Curiosity Killed Monsters (10G) after starting the game with 750 coins and spending the on a new monster. Like a Boss (10G)n unlocked for completing a level with three stars.


No Clue (10G) popped up for seeing a levels solution while In Your Face (10G) unlocked for hitting a monster in the head.


 Lastly Chill Down (10G) swept in killing an enraged monster so 50G and five achievements for as little as 10 minutes play. Next up was Crash Course Go and a quick unlock in Roadrunner (10G) for retrying a level and beating the previous score.

American Hero (10G) unlocked for completing all five USA levels while Hats off to You! (10G) popped up after getting launched through the Magic Hat in Vegas 5.

Bioshock Infinite Powers On

A late night and early morning's work on Bioshock Infinite saw a massive haul of ten unlocks across the story which began with David and Goliath (10G) for killing 20 'Heavy Hitter' enemies while Tear 'em a New One (25G) for opening 30 Tears.

Armed Revolt (10G) unlocked for assisting the Gunsmith - Chen Lin and was swiftly followed by Raising The Bar (10G) for upgrading an attribute to the maximum level which I did with the Health infusion.

Working Class Hero (25G) unlocked for completing the Factory phase of the story and Hazard Pay (25G) popped up for utilising environmental hazards to kill ten enemies.

Seasoned to Taste (5G) unlocked for killing 30 enemies with the Peppermill Crank Gun while Well Rounded (10G) popped up for using all eight vigors against enemies.

The Roguish Type (25G) unlocked for using Elizabeth to perform 30 successful lock picks and the final success for the night was Combination Shock (50G) which popped up for performing all eight vigor combinations and sealed the 10th unlock of the day and a total of 195G with the milestone of 70,000G reached.
